Florida State at Florida: Wednesday Practice Observations For The Seminoles
Florida State's preparation for a trip to Gainesville continued on a chilly Wednesday morning in Tallahassee. Despite the lower temperatures and grey skies, the Seminoles were in a great mood and the reason for that was obvious. Just days following his season-ending injury, star quarterback Jordan Travis was back on campus and observing the practice from a golf cart.
It's a great sign to see after the injury that Travis suffered on Saturday. Mike Norvell jokingly called him "stubborn" for how swiftly he got back around the team but his presence is huge for FSU's mindset.

NoleGameday was in attendance for the entire session and jotted down some observations from the day.
— The noise was bumping in the IPF this morning. It felt even louder than normal with parts of Florida's fight song and Tom's Petty 'I won't back down' blaring.
— Ryan Fitzgerald came up short on his 53-yard attempt to end off two-minute drills. He responded by making kicks from 31 yards and 44 yards. Tyler Keltner made his attempt from 31 yards out.
OFFENSE:
— I thought Tate Rodemaker was pretty good for the second consecutive day. He made smart decisions for the most part and threw a couple of bullets. Rodemaker was picked off during 7-on-7 after locking in on one receiver but bounced back with a powerful throw right into the same area to Kyle Morlock for a completion.
— True freshman Brock Glenn had arguably the best throw of the practice. He launched a deep ball to tight end Jackson West on the sideline that was in a perfect spot. West hauled it in while staying inbounds as Norvell came over to give him props afterward.
— Ja'Khi Douglas flashed throughout practice, making a couple of tough catches. Douglas ran a nice route on the sideline in 1-on-1's that created just enough separation to bring in a catch, picking up some praise from Norvell. On his next rep, he pulled in a pass in the end zone with a defensive back draped all over him.
— Vandrevius Jacobs got free on a deep pass after the defensive back got lost in coverage. He came back later in the drill with a catch over the middle as he was drilled by a defender. Jacobs held on to the pass.
— Deuce Spann took advantage of a defender falling down for a touchdown.
— Markeston Douglas had a couple of good battles with Conrad Hussey. He was able to wall off the true freshman safety for a touchdown catch in 1-on-1's.
DEFENSE:
The play of the day goes to Ja'Bril Rawls with a ridiculous pick in the end zone during 1-on-1's. It looked like he was able to corral it with one hand. It was a good day for the true freshman, who had an athletic pass breakup earlier in the drill.
— Conrad Hussey beat Markeston Douglas on their first matchup, getting in front of the big tight end for a pass deflection.
— Omar Graham Jr. stuck with a running back on a route of the backfield. He was close enough in coverage to disrupt a throw down the sideline.
— Renardo Green had a nice pass deflection in 7-on-7.
— Greedy Vance nearly picked off a pass but it was thrown high so he wasn't quite able to corral it.
— KJ Kirkland also had a pass deflection during the practice.
