Florida State Fans, Former Players React to First Victory Against Clemson In Nine Years

The fanbase was buzzing after the Seminoles knocked off the Tigers in overtime.

The 36th meeting between the Florida State Seminoles and Clemson Tigers ended in a dramatic 31-24 overtime victory for the undefeated Seminoles, snapping a seven-game losing streak to the Tigers.

In addition to snapping the losing streak, FSU made a statement moving forward as the program won its tenth consecutive game. The Seminoles enter the BYE week 4-0 for the second straight year. Throughout the game, Florida State never took the lead until its lone overtime possession.

The Tigers, who have won seven of the last eight ACC title games, were in a position to win the game late in the fourth quarter, as they set up for a field goal. Kicker Jonathan Weitz missed the kick and possession went back to the 'Noles.
