Florida State Reveals Bowl Rings With A Few Unique Features After Successful 2022 Season

A look at Florida State's Bowl Rings which include a tribute to the program's first state championship since 2016.

Florida State's ten-win campaign in 2022 was significant in more ways than one. The Seminoles won a bowl game and a state championship for the first time since 2016 while providing more victories than Mike Norvell's first two years with the program. The Cheez-It Bowl win against Oklahoma was also Norvell's first victory in a bowl game during his career as a head coach.

Following the memorable season that included victories against LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, and Miami, the Seminoles recently revealed their bowl rings which have a couple of unique features. The top of the ring references Florida State's win over the Sooners alongside an FSU logo that is adorned with diamonds.

One side of the jewel is dedicated to the program's first state championship with Norvell as head coach. It includes the text 'State Champs' along with the 'U' logo for Miami and the 'Gator' logo for Florida alongside the score of each game.

The other side is personalized for each player that was on the team last season. Each player's ring lists their name, number, and position. Encrusted with more diamonds is a reminder of the Seminoles' 10-3 record.

Check out a closer look at the ring below via a video from running back CJ Campbell's Instagram account. A clean rendition for Florida State after a memorable campaign in Tallahassee.

There's anticipation that the Seminoles will be even better this upcoming season with key players such as quarterback Jordan Travis, defensive tackle Fabien Lovett, and defensive end Jared Verse back for another year.

Florida State will kick off its 2023 campaign with a rematch against LSU in Orlando on Sunday, September 3.
