Florida State Seminoles Reveal Uniform Combination For Home Opener Against Southern Miss

The Seminoles have unveiled their uniforms for the home opener against the Golden Eagles.

Florida State returns to action on Saturday night in its home opener against Southern Miss inside Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles are coming off an emotional victory where they absolute dominated the LSU Tigers and now find themselves in the top-5 ahead of a potential trap game against the Golden Eagles.

Southern Miss head coach Will Hall worked for FSU head coach Mike Norvell when the two were at Memphis so there is a decent amount of familiarity between them. Hall has talked up the Seminoles throughout the week, not providing the same amount of bulletin board material as LSU's Brian Kelly. Regardless, it'll be up to Norvell's squad to display their maturity and ability to play week-to-week no matter the opponent in front of them.

Ahead of the matchup with the Golden Eagles, Florida State released its uniform combination. The Seminoles will be wearing their second different look in two games - gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and garnet pants for the second consecutive game. The wore the combo in a 44-14 victory against Boston College last season.

Florida State and Southern Miss will kick off at 8:30 p.m. on the ACC Network Jorge Sedano, Orlando Franklin, and Marilyn Payne on the call.
