The No. 4 Florida State Seminoles are reeling off an exciting and dominant performance against LSU last Sunday when they knocked off the then No. 5 Tigers in a decisive 45-24 victory.

There were some big moments in last week's matchup against the Tigers, like Jaheim Bell's two scores and Keon Coleman's three touchdown receptions, one of which came with a minute left in the first half.

"I thought that was one of the keys of the game. That response, that second-quarter touchdown, was huge. For guys to really go out there and execute, really both sides of the ball."

The 'Noles will be back at it again against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles this Saturday in their home opener after a short week before heading on the road to face Boston College.

"It provides an opportunity to continue to be tested," Florida State head coach Mike Norvel said after Tuesday's practice. "But every day is a test. Each day, we gotta get up and make a decision on what we want to be and I challenged the guys last week."

In preparation for the shortened week, the Seminoles utilized the summer workouts to help lessen the blow of such a quick turnaround game. Although Norvell said the team is relatively healthy coming out of the LSU game, getting players' bodies to full strength will be challenging.

"The structure of this week 100 percent does provide an opportunity to have to challenge yourself to another level just in the sense of getting your body back to where it needs to be," Norvell said. "We spent a lot of time this summer preparing for this game. I knew it would be a short week, so we had a good plan in place and got a lot of early week but now that we're here, we gotta go do it."

Norvell recaps LSU win, offensive line improvement, and more in his full interview below:

FSU kicks off on Saturday, September 9, inside Doak Campbell Stadium at 8:30 EST, and the game will air on ACCN.
