FSU NIL Collective The Battle's End Announces Partnership With True Freshman Wide Receiver
The end of the 2023 campaign is right around the corner and Florida State is focused on retaining members of its roster for next year. Things are always uncertain at this point on the calendar, especially with the NCAA Transfer Portal open for about two more weeks.
On Thursday afternoon, FSU NIL Collective, The Battle's End, announced that it was partnering with true freshman wide receiver Destyn Hill. This is the latest news out of the collective following the Early Signing Period as the entity also retained running back Lawrance Toafili and safety Shyheim Brown for the 2024 season.
Rising Star Safety Plans To Return To Florida State In 2024
Hill is coming off his first season in Tallahassee where he developed into a member of the rotation and part-time starter in the slot. Despite dealing with injuries, he appeared in nine games, with two starts, and caught six passes for 87 yards. Hill had a 30-yard reception in the win over Virginia Tech and a 29-yard grab in the victory at Pittsburgh.
The Lousiana native is projected to see his role grow next season as he continues to progress. The former four-star prospect in the 2021 class finally made it to campus over the offseason after a family issue that prevented him from enrolling for two seasons. He still has a lot of promise with his mix of athleticism and playmaking ability.
Hill will have the benefit of a full offseason of work at Florida State. He'll be able to participate in the Tour of Duty and his first slate of spring practices with the Seminoles. The 6-foot-0, 193-pound wide receiver has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
