Full Contract Details Unveiled For Mike Norvell's Massive Extension With FSU Football

The Seminoles have released the terms of Mike Norvell's eight-year extension.

Florida State has unveiled the full contract details for head coach Mike Norvell's massive extension with the program. Norvell signed the deal last month after being pursued by Alabama as Nick Saban's successor. He ultimately chose to continue his tenure in Tallahassee and was rewarded after the Seminoles made him one of the highest-paid coaches in the country.

Norvell's contract will jump from $5.5 million in 2023 to $9.875 million this season. He will receive a small raise each year until his salary rises to $10.835 million during the final year of his contract, which runs through December 31, 2031. The agreement was signed by Norvell, Athletics Director Michael Alford, and Associate General Counsel Gavin Burgess on February 16.
