Jordan Travis, FSU Football Players React to Alabama Losing Rose Bowl

The Seminoles are airing out their frustrations after Alabama's embarrassing offensive performance.

There have been plenty of justifications and public smear campaigns over the last month about how Florida State had no shot to compete in a College Football Playoff game. Well, did anyone watch the Rose Bowl on Monday night? The final team in the field that was selected over the Seminoles put together a tepid offensive performance in an eventual 27-20 overtime loss.

Alabama only recorded a mere 288 yards of total offense, including just 116 passing yards as quarterback Jalen Milroe averaged five yards per attempt while throwing zero touchdown passes. The Crimson Tide finished 3/13 on third-down attempts and 0/1 on their lone fourth-down attempt.

While the result felt like a taste of karma, it did nothing to relieve the anger, frustration, and feelings of being cheated that have enveloped Tallahassee since the beginning of December. In fact, it only lit even more flames as Florida State's players came to terms with the fact that the team they were disregarded for laid an egg in front of the entire country.

Following the contest, multiple Seminoles took to social media to publicly voice their reactions.
