Kickoff Time, TV Info Announced For Florida State's Home Game Against Virginia Tech
Florida State is enjoying a well-deserved week off after starting off the 2023 season 4-0. The Seminoles pulled out a gutsy victory over the weekend after taking down Clemson in Death Valley for the first time in ten years. Head coach Mike Norvell has guided his squad to an undefeated September but there is still plenty of football left to be played.

Following the BYE week, the Seminoles are set to match up with Virginia Tech in what will be their first of three consecutive home games. On Monday, the ACC announced game times and television information for contests that'll take place during the weekend of Saturday, October 7. According to the Atlantic Coast Conference, the game between the Seminoles and Hokies will kick off at 3:30 P.M. ET on either ABC or ESPN.
The network designation will occur following games this weekend. North Carolina's matchup with Syracuse at the same kickoff time is also drawing consideration to be televised on ABC or ESPN. The Seminoles have been on ABC three times in their first four games of the season.
FSU hasn't faced off with Virginia Tech often since the ACC expanded in 2013. The Seminoles have only played the Hokies three times since 2010 and one of those matchups came in the ACC Championship game. The last meeting came in 2018 - the first game of former head coach Willie Taggart's tenure with the program. The 'Noles were ultimately defeated 24-3 at home.
The Hokies are off to a 1-3 start and have lost three consecutive games following a 24-17 defeat to Marshall on Saturday. The offense failed to score 20+ points in any of the three losses as Virginia Tech is averaging just 3.2 yards per rush. Redshirt sophomore Kyron Jones has replaced redshirt senior Grant Wells as the starting quarterback in each of the last two games.
Virginia Tech will open up its conference schedule against Pittsburgh this Saturday. The game will kick off at 8:00 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network.
