Kickoff Time, TV Channel Finalized For FSU's Top-25 Matchup Against The Duke Blue Devils

The Seminoles will conclude a three-game homestand with a nationally televised Saturday night Showdown against Duke.

Florida State has put on a show inside Doak Campbell Stadium to begin October as the Seminoles have outscored their opponents 80-20 over the past two weeks. The latest outing featured a stifling performance from the defense as the Orange ran out of juice while punting nine times.

The Seminoles will complete their three-game homestand next Saturday when the Duke Blue Devils travel to Tallahassee. Ahead of the contest, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced that the game is set to be televised on ABC and will kick off at 7:30 p.m. eastern on Saturday, October 21.

This shouldn't come as any surprise to Seminole fans, who probably have the TV channel memorized at this point. The contest against the Blue Devils will be the sixth time in seven games that Florida State has played on ABC.

The kickoff time and TV information were dependent on Miami's matchup against North Carolina. Ultimately, the Hurricanes were selected to play their upcoming game against Clemson at 8:00 p.m. on the ACC Network after losing to the Tar Heels.

Duke enters the contest 5-1 and ranked inside the top 25. The Blue Devils have developed into a legitimate contender in the ACC under the guidance of second-year head coach Mike Elko. The team found a way to handle North Carolina State despite starting quarterback Riley Leonard missing the game due to injury.

That will be the main storyline to follow leading up to the weekend as Florida State prepares for its third consecutive sold-out home game. Leonard's presence is a complete game-changer for Duke on offense with the way the team has stepped up on the other side of the ball.

No matter who is under center, this will be another tough test for the Seminoles in their second game against a ranked opponent in 2023.
