Kickoff Time, TV Info Announced For Florida State's Top-25 Matchup Against Duke Blue Devils

The Seminoles will conclude a three-game stand in Doak Campbell Stadium in a ranked contest against Duke.

Florida State is sitting in a good position after getting out to a 5-0 start for the first time in eight years. The Seminoles came out of the BYE week healthy and with a renewed sense of energy as the team took down Virginia Tech to start off a favorable month at home. Syracuse is up next on the docket as head coach Mike Norvell tries to guide the program to a 12th straight victory dating back to last season.

Following the matchup against the Orange, Florida State is set to match up with Duke in what will be their second AP Top 25 contest of the season. On Monday, the ACC announced game times and television information for contests that'll take place during the weekend of Saturday, October 21. According to the Atlantic Coast Conference, the game between the Seminoles and the Blue Devils will kick off at 7:30 P.M. ET on ABC OR 8 P.M. ET on the ACC Network.

The time and network designation will be finalized after games this upcoming weekend. Clemson's road game against Miami is also up for consideration for the two slots mentioned above.

As of now, Duke is one of two ranked teams remaining on FSU's schedule so it will be important for the team to take advantage of a potential resume booster. The Seminoles previously took down then-No. 5 ranked LSU 45-24 in Orlando to open up their 2023 campaign.

The program hasn't played Duke on the football field since head coach Mike Norvell's first season in Tallahassee in 2020. The Seminoles closed out a COVID-19-shortened season with a 56-35 victory against the Blue Devils inside Doak Campbell Stadium.

The offense put up 28 points in the opening quarter as quarterback Jordan Travis completed 13/18 passes for 192 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while rushing for 90 yards and another score. Running back Lawrance Toafili rushed seven times for 117 yards and a touchdown while wide receiver Ja'Khi Douglas caught three passes for 77 yards and a pair of scores.

The Blue Devils are off to a 4-1 start this season under second-year head coach Mike Elko. However, the trajectory of Duke's climb could change drastically depending on the status of star quarterback Riley Leonard, who was injured at the conclusion of a loss to Notre Dame.

Duke is scheduled to face North Carolina State on Saturday night. The game will kick off at 8:00 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network.
