TV Information Announced, Kickoff Time Pending For FSU's Rivalry Game Against Miami Hurricanes

The Seminoles won't know what time they'll be kicking off against the Hurricanes until this weekend.

Florida State is one of the final undefeated teams in the country after advancing to 8-0 with a win over Wake Forest. After finding their footing on the road, the Seminoles will play away from Tallahassee again with a trip to Pittsburgh scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

Following the matchup against the Panthers, Florida State will match up with Miami in a rivalry game. On Monday, the ACC announced game times and television information for contests that'll take place during the weekend of Saturday, November 11. According to the Atlantic Coast Conference, the game between the Seminoles and the Hurricanes will be televised on ABC but the kickoff time has been six-day optioned.

That means the two teams won't know the kickoff time until next Sunday. Clemson's game against Georgia Tech and Duke's game against North Carolina have had their time flexed.

The Seminoles enter the contest with a two-game winning streak against Miami. That includes a 45-3 beatdown in 2022 where Florida State essentially scored the game-deciding touchdown on its opening possession of the night.

The last time these two teams matched up in Tallahassee, FSU snapped a four-game losing streak against the Hurricanes. The Seminoles trailed 28-20 in the fourth quarter prior to rallying with 11 points in the final 4:43 of the frame.

This was the beginning of the rise of quarterback Jordan Travis. A redshirt sophomore at the time, he guided the offense 80 yards in less than two minutes to secure the victory. Multiple highlights came out of the drive such as a 59-yard pass to Ja'Khi Douglas, 4th & 14 conversion to Andrew Parchment, and a game-winning touchdown run.

The Hurricanes are 6-2 on the season after back-to-back overtime wins against Clemson and Virginia. Starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has been dealing with injuries throughout the campaign. That was evident in the victory over the Cavaliers as he completed 20/30 passes for 163 passing yards and two interceptions.

Miami is scheduled to face North Carolina State on Saturday night. The game will kick off at 8:00 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network.
