Mike Norvell Discusses FSU Football's Addition Of All-Conference Transfer Sione Lolohea

The Seminoles have officially added an all-conference graduate transfer to their 2024 class.

Florida State has added defensive lineman Sione Lolohea to its #Tribe24 signing class, it was announced Thursday. Lolohea is a native of Houma Tukulalo Vava’u, Tonga, and played his first four collegiate seasons at Oregon State.

Appeared in 40 games with 22 starts in four seasons at Oregon State…recorded 88 tackles, including 15.0 for loss with 4.0 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery…second-team All-Pac-12 performer in 2023 after starting all 13 games and making 47 tackles, 8.5 for loss with 1.5 sacks, seven quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery…named Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Week after registering career-high 10 tackles in win vs. No. 18 UCLA…honorable mention All-Pac-12 selection in 2022…recorded 33 tackles, 6.0 for loss with 2.0 sacks, four quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles while playing 12 games with seven starts…saw action in eight games with two starts and registered seven tackles, including 0.5 sack, and two quarterback hurries in 2021…played all seven games and had one solo tackle as true freshman in 2020…ranked as No. 21 strong-side defensive end and No. 56 overall prospect from California in Class of 2020 by 247Sports…recorded 142 tackles, 31.0 for loss with 16.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in dominant senior season for Aquinas…helped lead Falcons to 2-AA championship game.
