There was a collective gasp from Florida State's sideline and fanbase when star quarterback Jordan Travis went down late in the second quarter against Boston College. Travis was instantly surrounded by a group of trainers and other personnel, including head coach Mike Norvell, seemingly pointing towards his non-throwing shoulder.

The redshirt senior returned for the second half and played through the injury during the remainder of Florida State's 31-29 victory. Following the game, he was spotted with a sling and ice on his left shoulder.

Thankfully for the Seminoles, it sounds like Travis dodged a serious injury and his availability won't be a question moving forward.

"I mean he was sore after the game but I'm not worried what his health will be here moving forward," Norvell said on Monday morning.

"I was proud of him coming back. He got hit there on that last two-minute drive, landed on the ground awkwardly," Norvell continued. "Was uncomfortable probably physically going into the second half. He came out, first two drives, had touchdown drives, made some really good throws. He had some runs there late that were really good."

Travis was visibly hampered during the final two quarters, showing his grittiness while playing threw the pain to lead his team to a victory. He finished the game 16/24 passes for 212 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Travis also rushed four times for 38 yards, the second-best mark on the team against Boston College.

Florida State and Travis will be back in action on Saturday afternoon against the Clemson Tigers. The Seminoles are trying to snap a seven-game-losing streak to the Tigers in a building that they haven't won a game in since 2013.
