BREAKING: FSU Starting Quarterback Jordan Travis Injured In First Half Against Boston College

The Seminoles saw their starting quarterback suffer a potential injury late in the second quarter.

Florida State's ACC contest against Boston College is currently at the half. The Seminoles fought back in the second quarter to take a 17-10 advantage into the locker room after trailing for much of the first half.

The biggest concern for the Seminoles might not be on the scoreboard after starting quarterback Jordan Travis was injured late in the opening half. Travis stayed down on the field after being tackled short on third down while trying to avoid multiple defenders.

The Heisman contender was escorted to the sideline and into Florida State's injury tent. He remained on the sidelines with the team prior to the conclusion of the second quarter but appeared to be favoring his left arm. While being helped by trainers, Travis seemed to point to his shoulder.

Florida State had one final offensive play in the first half following Travis' injury. He was replaced by redshirt junior Tate Rodemaker for the snap which ended up being a kneel-down. Rodemaker took over for the Seminoles during a comeback victory against Louisville last year when Travis went down with an ankle injury in the first half.

Prior to exiting the game, Travis completed 6/11 passes for 91 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also rushed twice for 25 yards.

NoleGameday will continue to monitor Travis' status and if he's able to return for the second half.

UPDATE 2:00 PM: Jordan Travis has returned to the lineup and is manning the offense to begin the third quarter,
