No. 4 Florida State Against No. 20 Miami Home Rivalry Sells Out

Tickets are selling fast for Florida State's remaining home games.

Florida State Seminole fans have historically packed the house, and the 2023 season is no different. The trend of sold out stands will continue in Tallahassee on November 11 when the 'Noles take on a climbing Miami Hurricanes team under the lights inside Doak Campbell Stadium.

No. 4 FSU announced on Friday that the classic rivalry will be standing room only for the great fans of Coral Gables as the Seminoles contiue their strive for dominance in the Sunshine State.

Last season, the Seminoles put on football clinic over the Hurricanes in a 45-3 romp giving the FSU fan base a much needed sign of what is to come in the Mike Norvell era.

Miami is currently ranked No. 20 in the AP polls but has more uphill challenges ahead with contests against Clemson and No. 17 North Carolina. They also face Temple on the road this Saturday and Georgia Tech at home in the coming weeks.

In a surprising turnaround, UM quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has the 'Canes 3-0 but have yet to play a conference game heading into week four. He's thrown for 822 yards, and eight scores to one interception and could give the Seminoles trouble although FSU will likely be favored in the matchup.

Not looking ahead to what will certainly be an exciting home game, the Seminoles have their focus on Clemson this Saturday on the road which will be one of the toughest challenges on their slate this season.

As of now, this will be the first time FSU and UM will face off as ranked opponents since 2016 and all three Florida teams (FSU, UF, and UM) are currently ranked in the top-25.
