Recruits React To Florida State's Overtime Victory Against Clemson

What did recruits think about Florida State's epic victory against the Tigers in Death Valley?

Florida State snapped a seven-game losing streak to Clemson with an overtime victory in Death Valley on Saturday. This was a huge step in the right direction for the Seminoles after coming up just short against the Tigers during their last two meetings. Head coach Mike Norvell has his team on a path to a potential ACC Championship run.

Four-Star Quarterback Luke Kromenhoek (FSU Commit): "Wasn’t pretty but we got the job done. Big win for the program finally being able to get over that hump and beat Clemson and I think it speaks volumes about coach Norvell and this team pulling out a close win against a good team in their house!"

Four-Star Running Back Kam Davis (FSU Commit): "I think that was a win over a rival. FSU had been playing good but today it looked a little slow because of the fight Clemson had to try and win."

2025 Five-Star Linebacker Jadon Perlotte (Georgia Commit): "Norvell is building something great and it’s only getting better."

2026 Four-Star Defensive Back Zechariah Fort: "The game was close, but FSU pulled through once again and got the win."
