WATCH: FSU's Winston Wright Jr. Showcases Skill Ahead of 2023 Season
Florida State's wide receiver room has gone through a massive overhaul these past few seasons going from a receiving grade of 95th in the country in 2021 per PFF.com to being the No. 6 room in all of college football last year.
A player that was expected to take part in that overhaul was wide receiver Winston Wright Jr. Unfortunately, and tragically, his season was cut short due to a catastrophic car accident that left him watching the Seminoles' first 10-win season since 2016 come to fruition from the sidelines.

Wright fought hard in rehab and probably would've played on crutches had the medical staff let him. The fruits of his labor are starting to show, as evidenced in a recent video highlighting his fluid route running and speed.
During the latter part of 2022, onlookers watched in anticipation at practice when Wright fielded kicks inside the practice facilities showing what could be for the young transfer from West Virginia.
He caught 129 passes for 1,338 yards and seven touchdowns during his time with the Mountaineers while returning 50 kickoffs for 1,236 yards and two touchdowns in 33 nights under the lights.
Although he has yet to see time in an official game for the Seminoles, Wright has shown promise in post-injury practices, and his experience and tenure are undeniable.
Wright's hard work and perseverance are setting the stage for a potential triumphant return to the field.
