Averaging 11.7 yards per catch during his time in Tallahassee, totaling 1,562 yards through the air and eight scores on 133 receptions, Wilson became a fan favorite and 11th most all-time in receptions at FSU as a go-to receiver.
After spending time bouncing between practice squads with the Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers before his contract ended in January 2020, Wilson went to the XFL and the Orlando Guardians. He was released during the final roster cuts.
He had career totals of 107 yards and one touchdown on eight receptions in the NFL, playing in 14 games. He spent most of his time active on special teams, totaling 326 yards on kickoff and punt return units.
Wilson's lone score came against the Carolina Panthers on a pass by former FSU teammate and New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston when the two spent time together with the Buccaneers.
