Is Dalvin Cook Hinting at His Next NFL Team Location?

It's been reported that Cook could be released on Friday.

Rumors regarding the potential destination for former Florida State running back Dalvin Cook have been circulating recently amidst speculation about his future with the Minnesota Vikings. According to ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Vikings will release Cook if they fail to secure a trade deal for him by Friday.

These reports and speculation have sparked interest from football enthusiasts as Cook may be searching for a new home. He could be giving fans a hint as to where his next location is and following the report, he took to Instagram and posted a picture of him at the Miami Dolphins' Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL.

Starting fresh with the Dolphins could be a logical move for the four-time Pro Bowler and there has been previous interest shown by the Dolphins, making them a potential destination for him to land. One potential obstacle for teams seeking a trade deal running back could be his 2019 shoulder surgery. Back in April, he was reportedly making excellent progress in his recovery.

Cook's career started with the Vikings in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and out of the six seasons he's been in Minnesota four of them were for over 1,000 yards from scrimmage. That number would likely be higher had he not been battling injuries early on in his career. In 2020 he rushed for 1,173 yards and scored eight touchdowns.

During his time at FSU, he recorded 46 rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns while amassing 5,399 all-purpose yards placing him second in school history. He was named a unanimous All-American, first-team All ACC and Orange Bowl MVP
