Hoping to continue that trend, the 'Noles have their sights set on four-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels who is the fifth-ranked inside offensive lineman in the country and the 15th-ranked prospect in Florida.

On Tuesday, the Pine Forest Eagle announced his final top three schools and FSU made the cut alongside Georgia and Kentucky. Daniels is expected to announce his official commitment on July 15.

He took an official visit to Tallahassee on June 23 after also visiting Georgia and Kentucky last month.

Daniels, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, helped Pine Forest to a 10-1 season and a Florida 3S regional semifinal appearance his junior year while mostly playing on the offense. During his sophomore year, the Eagles went 12-2 and played for a Florida 6A State Title.

Other FSU targets that are expected to commit in the third week of July are local prospects three-star defensive back Ashton Hampton and four-star running back Micahi Danzy.
