FSU Football Fall Camp Observations: Seminoles Complete Final Practice Ahead Of Second Scrimmage
To no surprise, five-star safety and recent Seminole commitment KJ Bolden was one of the future stars to flex his muscles at the beginning of the season. What's even more impressive is that his performance came in Buford High School's (GA) 18-0 shutout victory against St. Frances Academy (MD). St. Frances was regarded as the No. 6 high school team in the nation according to MaxPreps prior to the game.
While we don't have an exact stat line, Bolden made a pair of big plays. He jumped a route downfield to pick off three-star quarterback Michael Van Buren, who is committed to Oregon. Bolden cut up the sideline and took the interception all the way back to the end zone. It ended up being called back due to a penalty on the return but his play-making ability was on full display.
Bolden also caught a touchdown pass on an eight-yard slant. He hauled in the scoring pass from five-star quarterback and Georgia commit Dylan Raiola despite multiple defenders in the area.

In total, the Georgia native recorded at least four tackles and an interception on defense while catching two passes for 19 yards and a touchdown on offense.
Buford will continue its competition against schools from other states next week. The Wolves are scheduled to travel to North Carolina for a game against Mallard Creek High School on Friday night.
