Kirby Smart Provides an Update on Brock Bowers Prior to Orange Bowl

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart addressed the media on Friday morning alongside Florida State head coach. He provided an update on Brock Bowers entering this matchup.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart addressed the media on Friday morning alongside Florida State head coach. He was asked about the legacy of tight end Brock Bowers and whether or not he was going to play in this football game on Saturday afternoon. 

"His legacy is his a tremendous athlete, great toughness, I've never seen a kid come back from that injury like that. He kind of changed the culture and the work ethic around our offense. The way he has practice is incredible, he's been a machine. The standard he set there will impact our roster for a long time."

When asked again about his status, he said, "We will see." So, we will see. Sources have indicated Bowers playing in this football game is not out of the question.
