Brock Bowers Joins Bulldog Royalty Following All-American Season
Since arriving at The University of Georgia, Brock Bowers has cemented himself as one of the most talented tight ends in Bulldog history and arguably all of college football. The Bulldog's latest accomplishment has proven no different, as he joined some elite company following the 2023 season.
With Bowers' earning All-American honors in the 2023 season, he has now become just the third Georgia Bulldog in program history to be named an All-American in three straight seasons. The other two are legendary running back Herschel Walker and star defensive lineman, David Pollack.Β
Bowers has of course been no stranger to making history during his time with the Bulldogs. Recently, the tight end became the first player in college football history to win the Mackey Award twice.Β
With the Orange Bowl not having any national title implications, we have likely seen Bowers take his final snap in collegiate football. However, his lasting accomplishments, some of which put him amongst the most elite names in the sport's history will surely make him a household name within the world of college football for many years to come.Β
