Georgia Set to Play Florida State in the Orange Bowl
The (12-1) Georgia Bulldogs finished sixth in the final College Football Playoff Rankings after their 3-point loss in the SEC Championship game vs Alabama. Leaving many to wonder what might be next for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Reports are surfacing, sources are confirming that Georgia will likely be selected to play in the Orange Bowl vs the Florida State Seminoles.
The Seminoles finished the 2023 regular season (13-0), becoming the first and only undefeated football team to be left out of the Final Four. It's yet to be determined what these rosters will ultimately look like come game day, with plenty of potential NFL Draft declarations lingering on both sides of this matchup.
"When you look at who they are as a team right now without Jordan Travis, they are a different team and that is why the committee ranked them four and five."
Georgia is listed as a 12.0-point favorite in this matchup according to Brent McMurphy of ActionNetwork. The contest is scheduled to take place Saturday December 30th at Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida.
