Georgia Bulldogs wide reciever Ladd McConkey has been awarded the Wuerffel Trophy.

For three years now, Ladd McConkey has been a major contributor to the Georgia Bulldogs' success on the field. The highly talented wide receiver has hauled in over 1,500 career receiving yards and has scored touchdowns in some of the biggest moments in Georgia's history.

But McConkey's accomplishments "Between the Hedges" are only the beginning of his long list of achievements.

Recently, McConkey was named the recipient of the 2023 Wuerffel Trophy. An award which is given to the college football player who most exemplifies both community service and leadership on and off the field.

Over the years, McConkey has set an excellent example of community service in various ways from surprising young fans, reading books to local schools, and even participating in meet and greats for those with special needs.

With the litany of on-field accomplishments under his belt combined with his dedication to serving his community. It is safe to assume that McConkey will go down in history as one of the most respected players of the Kirby Smart era.
