Get Up! It's Gameday; The Orange Bowl

The Georgia Bulldogs' final game of the season is today as they prepare to do battle with an unfamiliar college football powerhouse.

The Georgia Bulldogs' 2023 season will conclude this afternoon as they face the Florida State Seminoles in the iconic Orange Bowl game. While the game has lost some of its shine, since both teams playing were controversially left out of the College Football Playoff. There is still a ton of anticipation behind this game. 

The Bulldogs are heading into this game fresh off a heartbreak as they watched their record-setting 29-game win streak come to an end at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide. The loss caused them to drop out of the top four, ending their hopes of a historic three-peat.

The Seminoles are fresh off a heartbreak of their own as well. After reaching a perfect 13-0 record and winning the ACC Championship, the Noles were left out of the playoff because starting quarterback Jordan Travis suffered a season-ending injury which greatly hindered the team's offensive abilities. 

As the game inches closer and closer, the Bulldogs have continued to remain heavy favorites. According to Action Network, the Bulldogs are massive -19.5 point favorites to defeat the Noles on Saturday—a nearly 6-point increase from when the line originally opened.

With both teams having a bitter taste in their mouth about missing the College Football Playoff, today's rare matchup between two college football powerhouses could be another instant classic.
