Kirby Smart's Locker Room Speech Following SEC Championship Revealed
Kirby Smart has gained lots of notoriety for his motivational pre-game/halftime locker-room speeches to his team. But he has rarely had to deliver a speech on the losing end of football games.
The Georgia Bulldogs' 29-game win streak ended this past Saturday when they were defeated by the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship by a score of 24-27. The loss was the Bulldog's fifth in the last six games against Alabama.
Despite the gut-wrenching loss, Smart once again delivered a speech to his players that was filled with a plethora of excellent coaching points and life lessons
While Smart's message and energy were certainly much different than that of previous victories, the quality of his speech was still on par. The Bulldogs' head coach reassured his players that he was proud of them, loved them, and wanted to ensure that they finished the season the right way.
"I love the men in this room. And when you lose games, here's what you do. You don't look to point the finger outward. You say 'What can I do? What could've I done better?"

Smart and the Bulldogs will look to finish strong when they take on the No.5 Florida State Seminoles in the Orange Bowl. The Bulldogs are currently more than 10-point favorites to win the game.
