HALF: Alabama on Top of Georgia in SEC Championship

The Bulldogs are currently down after 30 minutes of play in the SEC Championship.

The Georgia Bulldogs are halfway through their matchup with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia currently is trailing the Tide by a score of 7-17. With 30 minutes of play complete, here is how the game has played out thus far.

First Quarter

The Bulldogs defense stood tall on the opening drive. Forcing a quick three-and-out to set up a touchdown drive that was capped off by Kendall Milton. The defense followed that up with another three and out. The defense would eventually allow a score as a Bama field goal would cut Georgia’s lead to 7-3.

Second Quarter

The second quarter began with Alabama scoring a touchdown to take a 10-7 lead over Georgia. The Dawgs would attempt a field goal of their own but would miss and the score would remain 7-10. The Tide would extend its lead with a minute left in the first half to go up 17-7.

With another 30 minutes of football still left, and a close score such as this one. This game looks like it is shaping up to be another instant classic.
