BREAKING: Four Star Jacob Wilkins, Son of Dominique Wilkins, Commits to Georgia
Georgia basketball has been on a hot streak as of late on the recruiting trail heading into the 2023 college basketball season. Head coach Mike White and company added a big-time piece to the 2024 class, and now they just got a massive addition to the 2025 class. Four-star Jacob Wilkins, and son of former Bulldog Dominique Wilkins, has announced his commitment to the Bulldogs.
The Georgia native measures in at 6-7 as a small forward. He is rated as the 40th-best player in the 2025 recruiting class, the sixth-best player in the state of Georgia and a top ten player at his position, according to 247 composite rankings.
Wilkins becomes the first member of the 2025 class for the Bulldogs and will follow an already impressive 2024 class. Just last week, Georgia picked up a commitment from Asa Newell, a five-star in the upcoming class, and a player that will certainly help Coach White continue to build the program upward.
Georgia made the decision to hire Mike White in hopes of elevating the program and bringing more success to the basketball floor, and based on the way he has recruited, the Bulldogs look to be on the rise in the near future.
