Daniel Harris Announces He Is Staying At Georgia

In this story:
The Georgia Bulldogs have officially completed their 2023 season after beating Florida State in the Orange Bowl with a score of 63-3. Many have been anticipating the announcements from Georgia players regarding their future in football, whether that be the NFL or staying in college. Well, one Bulldog kind of got the ball rolling as defensive back Daniel Harris announced he would be staying at Georgia after it was initially announced he was entering the portal.
Before the Orange Bowl, it was led to believe that Harris would be entering the transfer portal. Information was then shared by head coach Kirby Smart the week of the bowl game that, "Just because a player has posted something about going into the portal doesn't mean they have. There's a process you have to go through in order to get into the portal. [Harris] not in there."
Right after Georgia's victory over Florida State, Harris then took to Twitter to announce that he would not be entering the portal and that he would be returning to Athens for another season.

Georgia lost quite a few players to the transfer portal since the SEC Championship game. Harris was not a starter for the Bulldogs this year, but he played in the bowl game and will be a key piece to the defensive back room moving forward.
