Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart met with the media on Monday prior to the Georgia Bulldogs season opener against UT Martin. The Nation's No. 1 football team entering the 2023 college football season will open the season as massive favorites at home against the Ohio Valley Conference champions. 

Smart updated the injury report on Monday 

Georgia Football Injury Report 8/28 

  • Daijun Edwards - (knee) He had one last year, he's actually doing great, he's going to be able to practice and do everything today. 
  • Kendall Milton (Hamstring) - He feels 80/90 percent, we are hopeful to get him back today as well. 
  • Ladd McConkey (Back) - Ladd's doing great, we had to shut him down a little bit but he's expected to be out there today. 
  • Le'Neith Whitehead (Knee) - He's been battling a little bit of a knee injury throughout camp. 
  • Branson Robinson ruptured his patela tendon, out for the season
  • Kamari Lassiter (Foot) - Been practicing for the last couple of weeks. 
  • Smael Mondon (Foot) - Been practicing in a non-contact jersey for some time now. 
  • Lawson Luckie (Ankle) - Lawson had the tight-rope surgery, he's already out of a boot and is walking with pressure on it which is incredible. 
  • Joenel Aguero (Hamstring) - Smart said Aguero has a grade 1 hamstring strain.

Georgia Football Injury Report 8/23

  • Earnest Greene suffered an ankle injury during the second scrimmage, Smart said he's back to 50% during practice.
  • Raylen Wilson Hyperextended his knee and hasn't returned to practice to this point.
  • Branson Robinson ruptured his patela tendon, out for the season
  • Kendall Milton - Taking more reps, not 100%.
  • Kamari Lassiter (Foot) - Lassiter returned to practice during observations on Tuesday but was in a non-contact jersey as a full participant during individual periods.
  • Joenel Aguero (Hamstring) - Smart said Aguero has a grade 1 hamstring strain.
  • Earnest Greene (ankle) - Rolled an ankle during the scrimmage, and returned but did not finish practice according to Smart.
  • Smael Mondon (Foot) - Has not participated in full contact periods this fall camp. "Smael is back running but hasn't been a full participant."
