Georgia Injury Report 8/12

  • Smael Mondon, LB - Cleared to run but will be limited with regards to football activity, Kirby Smart mentioned he was ahead of schedule

  • Chris Peal, DB (Toe) - He's had a boot on, he's practicing.
  • Kendall Milton, RB - (Hamstring) limited in practice per sources.

  • Mykel Williams, DL - FOOT Will be limited with snap count but will be involved in football activity.

Practice Notes from 8/8

  • QB Rotation - The rotation was the same today. Carson Beck took the first reps, followed by Vandagriff, and Stockton
  • Smael Mondon was in tennis shows running with the training staff, as was Kendall Milton (Hamstring), RaRa Thomas (Returned to Indys afterward), and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (foot)
  • RB Rotation with Kendall out was Daijun Edwards, Cash Jones, Andrew Paul, and then Branson Robinson. Robinson has returned from the foot it appears.
  • The offensive line rotation was the same. Earnest Greene getting the first team reps at left tackle with Austin Blaske behind him. According to sources, both have received reps with the ones.
  • Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (X), Ladd McConkey (Z), and Dominic Lovett (SLOT) remain the first unit, with Dillon Bell being the first up to give someone a breather.
  • Pearce Spurlin has earned the nickname "Seaside." From coach Smart. He finished out his high school career at North Walton, Florida down on the beach.

Practice Notes from 8/3

  • QB Rotation - Carson got first in the drills that we observed.
  • CB Rotation - Julian Humphrey is noticeably bigger at corner, with no true indications on rotation seeing as we only saw individual periods mostly there.
  • X-Reicever - Rara Thomas took the fourth team reps during today's availability. It was Rosemy-Jacksaint to start, followed by Meeks, and Tyler Williams.
  • OL Rotations - Earnest Greene getting first-team reps with Austin Blaske filling in behind at left tackle.
    • Offensive Line: Earnest Greene, Xavier Truss, SVP, Tate Ratledge, Amarius Mims
  • Oscar Delp is large, I would say he's around 250 pounds. His lower half is thick. He's clearly preparing for the role left by Darnell Washington.
  • Pearce Spurlin is back at practice after his shoulder injury this spring, he's the fourth tight end behind Bowers, Delp, and Lawson Luckie.
  • Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards split carries with the "first unit" during practice availability.
  • The Punt team's first unit has 8 starting position players on it—names like JDJ, Malaki Starks, Brock Bowers, Javon Bullard, and Chaz Chambliss.
