Chris Cole Officially Signs Letter of Intent to Georgia Football

The Georgia Bulldogs linebacking group gets bigger with the signing of this elite 2024 player.

It’s December 20th, otherwise known as Early National Signing day on this year’s version of the always hectic College Football calendar. The overwhelming majority of Georgia’s 2024 signing class will be solidified in hard writing today. With 16 signees already enrolled

Cole is a former safety turned linebacker coming out of Salem High School in Virginia. Cole led his team to a 13-2 record and a deep playoff push this season that saw them go to the 4A State Championship, which they lost 21-14 to Phoebus H.S. 

Cole is also an experienced track runner competing at indoor and outdoor events. For his outdoor stats in his junior season, he ran the 110-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash. He had a best of 15.50 seconds for the 110m hurdles and 23.70 seconds in the 200m dash. For indoor events during his junior season, he competed in the 55-meter and 60-meter hurdles. He has a best of 7.79 in the 50m hurdles and 8.44 in the 60m hurdles. 

Dawgs Daily’s Ethan Offutt reached out to Cole for a comment regarding his commitment, and Cole had this to say - 

Now that Cole has wrapped up his final game and classes with Salem, he will graduate early from high school and join the Dawgs as they prepare to get ready for a fight in South Florida when they go take on the No. 5 Florida State Seminoles. Cole will be joined by plenty of other 2024 commits who will be on campus practicing as well.
