Georgia to Play Florida State In ACC/SEC Challenge
The Bulldogs' 2023-2024 schedule begins to look clearer and clearer as Georgia announces that they are set to play Florida State in the ACC/SEC challenge.
It will be the first year of the ACC/SEC challenge, including the Dawgs traveling to Tallahassee, FL, on November 29th for this bout. It will be the 30th all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Seminoles holding the advantage with a 19-10 record against Georgia.
Aside from their history on the court, the Seminoles and Bulldogs also have some history with coaches. Hugh Durham, who led Georgia to its first NCAA March Madness and Final Four appearance in 1983, also played for and coached FSU.
The Bulldogs will be fresh off a trip to the Bahamas, where they will face the other ACC Florida team, the Miami Hurricanes, on Nov. 17th. Mike White will lead his team into battle against two other ACC teams, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest, as they look to keep improving following a 10-win improvement last season.
The ACC/SEC challenge is part of an agreement with ESPN, which will announce the game's network at a later date.
