PHOTOS: Georgia Survives Threat from Missouri
It wasn't the prettiest of wins for the Georgia Bulldogs, but it got the job done, and they got to continue their undefeated record in 2023. The Bulldogs won by a final score of 30-21 as cornerback Javon Bullard sealed the game late in the fourth quarter with an interception.
Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers on Saturday. He may not have performed up to his usual standard of 300+ passing yards, but he delivered in the big moments and helped keep putting points on the board for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs only out-gained the Tigers by 22 yards this game, but the defense came up huge in two key moments. Defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse picked the ball off late in the game to get the Bulldogs the ball back to extend the lead to multiple scores, and then Georgia's defense forced another turnover late in the game to officially seal it.
Here are the photos from the football game.
