Final Score Prediction: UAB Versus Georgia

The fourth straight game day between the hedges has arrived, and the Dawgs Daily staff is here to give you our predictions for the contests between UAB and Georgia.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby Smart will look to go 4-0 tonight against a 1-2 UAB Blazer squad. Both teams have many offensive and defensive threats that could make this game interesting. The Dawgs Daily staff is here to give you our final score predictions for UAB versus Georgia.

The Blazers have a serious passing game that averages 318.7 yards a game while the Dawgs defense gives up 177 yards through the air. Smart's secondary stepped up to the test last weekend against one of the SEC's top quarterbacks, Spencer Rattler when they came away with two interceptions to ice the game for Georgia.

Offensively, the Dawgs have had some slow starts in the first halves, but a limited amount of drives within the first half and a field goal unit that has left nine points on the field in the last two games can be accredited to these slow starts. With one last home game before they travel to Auburn, Mike Bobo and his offense want to start quickly.

UAB has had a relatively tough start to their football season, having allowed 32.0 points per game through three contests, ranking 114th in the country. Georgia enters the game as a nearly 40.0-point favorite in Vegas, and I believe it's a feel-good football game for Georgia. As they get set to head on the road next week against Auburn, they will need to get things on track offensively. Expect to see a fast start offensively for the Dawgs, with plenty of designed shots, or at least that's the ideal recipe.

Tonight, Smart and his team have a chance to do something very special in being the winningest coach through 100 career games, in SEC history, passing Nick Saban when he did it with Alabama. His team knows this is one of their coach's goals, and it will be an extra motivating factor for them tonight. Aside from that, the message from Smart to his team will be to play perfect tonight. UAB isn't a team they should be afraid of and should come out firing early. They know they haven't played their best game yet and will need to continue to build towards that goal tonight. Dawgs continue to roll their cupcakes and get Kirby Smart his 100th career win as UGA's head coach.

It seems like we have been waiting for Georgia's offense to really start clicking consistently, and I think that's what the fans get today in Athens. I think Carson Beck has a great day from the pocket, and Georgia's defense does what they do and keeps the Blazers out of the end zone for almost the entire game. The offense gets rolling early, and the receiving corps has a massive day for the Bulldogs. Dawgs roll in week four to gain some extra momentum before they get into the main stretch of their schedule.
