Georgia fans can relax as they have learned who their starting quarterback will be heading into the start of the 2023 season. Carson Beck has officially been named the Bulldogs' starter. Many knew this would likely be the case but were waiting on the official word from Kirby Smart because the talented quarterback's Brock Vandagriff and Gunner Stockton had a shot at the spot.

When Dawgs Daily last reported the odds, USC QB Caleb Williams led the betting line with UNC QB Drake Maye just behind him. At the time, Beck and Vandagriff sat 15th and 16th in the odds rankings, with odds of +2000. Those odds have shifted a bit, with Beck being named the starter.

According to RotoWire, Caleb Williams is still the betting favorite, but now LSU QB Jayden Daniels sits behind him. Beck's odds still sit the same, at +2000, but his position on the rankings went up to 11th. Brock Vandagriff saw a major shift in his odds, going from +2000 to +10000 and sliding down to 48th.
