Initial Weather Report for Georgia Versus Tennessee

With what would have been the SEC East championship game this weekend between Tennessee and Georgia, Dawgs Daily looks at how the weather could impact this bout.

After moving to an impressive 9-0 record following Georgi football's win over Ole Miss, they now turn their sights to Knoxville, TN, and facing the Tennessee Volunteers in Neyland Stadium.

The Vols have an impressive home winning streak like their rivals down in the Peach State, and the Dawgs will be looking to end that streak. Currently sitting as a -9.5 point favorite, some weather concerns could affect this game.

According to the Weather Channel, this Saturday in Knoxville, it is supposed to be a high of 59 and a low of 33 with an 18% chance of rain, and it currently looks like there will be wind gusts up to six miles per hour.

The Bulldogs have faced plenty of weird weather environments this season, winning multiple times in the rain, such as last weekend against Ole Miss. Either way, if you travel to the game, it is highly recommended to bring some jackets with you and maybe a dirty towel to sit on and wipe the bleachers down with.
