Kirby Smart Shares Thoughts on Stetson Bennett and LA Rams
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart shared his thoughts about Stetson Bennett and his new team during an interview with "The Next Round" earlier this week. As usual, Smart was extremely complimentary of the former Georgia quarterback and outlined the strengths of his game.
"He's talented. He's a great athlete. He fits their scheme, I think Sean liked him playing in Monken's system. There's a lot of similarities there. He loves Stafford and has a chance to learn under one of the best. I don't think you can find a better fit for him."

Smart likely has a better understanding than most about Bennett's game. As he was his coach at the collegiate level for over five years. During Bennett's extended tenure with the Dawgs, he led the team to two straight national championship victories, an SEC Championship title, and Georgia's first-ever 15-0 college football season in 2022.
Bennett was selected as the 128th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. His fourth-round selection is the highest by a Georgia quarterback since his new teammate, Matthew Stafford was selected first overall during the 2009 NFL Draft.
