KJ Bolden Announces Commitment Date
As the summer recruiting cycle rolls along, many of the nation's top recruits have begun to decide the schools where they will begin their college football careers. KJ Bolden is set to be the latest recruit from the 2024 class, as it was reported by On3 that he will be committing on Aug. 5.
Bolden, a five-star prospect from the state of Georgia. Is currently ranked as the No.1 player at the safety position and the No.3 overall player from the state of Georgia. He took an official visit to the University of Georgia earlier this summer. Dawgs Daily was able to with KJ about his experience.
“It went well, it keeps getting better and better. I got to have some great conversations with the coaches about my ability to play and enroll early. I also had a blast with the other commits and future commits doing the scavenger hunt. It was my dad's first time on campus so it was great to have him there to listen and support me. The atmosphere just feels right.”

But there have been some interesting developments in Bolden's recruitment since his last official visit to Georgia. It was recently announced that Dylan Raiola, the No.1 ranked player in the 2024 class, would transfer to Buford High School in Georgia. The same one that Bolden currently attends.
Since committing to Georgia, Raiola and other Bulldog commits have done a great amount of recruiting on behalf of the Georgia Bulldogs and have helped Kirby Smart build some serious momentum on the recruiting trail. Could Raiola persuade Bolden to become the newest addition to Kirby Smart's already magnificent 2024 recruiting class?
Ohio State appears to be the primary threat to Georgia but sources have indicated that as the star's recruitment nears an end, the instate Bulldogs are likely the odds-on favorite with a month to go before the No. 1 Player in Georgia commits.
