Ladd McConkey Joins "The Paul Finebaum Show" to Discuss Possibility of Three-Peat
By now, the Georgia Bulldogs' quest for a national championship is a well-known topic as a title for the 2023 season would complete a historic three-straight national title victories. A feat that has never been accomplished in the modern era of college football.
But while the prospect of making history is certainly on Bulldog fans' minds, the priorities within the Georgia program are vastly different. Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey cemented this belief when he stated on "The Paul Finebaum Show" that he and the Bulldogs were remaining focused on the season ahead.
McConkey did say that he recognized the team's recent accomplishments and that it was wild to think back on how much the team has accomplished in such a short time. But the Chatsworth, Georgia native remained adamant about not focusing on past accomplishments.
"It's crazy. What we have done is truly special. But as soon as you start looking at it like that, that's when you get caught up. So we are taking it one day at a time, looking forward, and not kind of sitting back and resting on our laurels."

McConkey and the rest of the Bulldogs will begin their 2023 season in Athens when they host the UT-Martin Skyhawks on September 2. Kickoff for the game is currently scheduled for 6 p.m.
