Mike Matthews Sets Commitment Date
In the current era of college football where high-powered offenses with super-efficient passing games reign supreme, the receiver position has quickly become one of the more desirable positions in the sport. And this week, one of the most highly touted players at the position will be making their commitment.
Mike Matthews, a 5-star receiver in the 2024 recruiting class recently announced that he will be committing to his school of choice this Wednesday, July 19. Currently, his four top choices are Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson, and USC. Matthews attended an unofficial visit with the Bulldogs back in September of 2022 when the team defeated the Kent State Golden Flashes by a score of 39-22.
The Bulldogs currently have two commits at the receiver position in the 2024 class. However, the addition of Matthews would elevate the Bulldogs' already historic class to even further heights.
