Midseason NFL Draft Stock Update - Bulldogs Litter First-Round Mocks

Midseason NFL Mock Drafts are in and there are several Georgia Bulldogs that are scattered all across the first-round projections for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

Georgia has placed 27 players in the NFL draft in the last two drafts. The 2022 draft class featured five first-round draft picks, 15 total. Head coach Kirby Smart followed that up with yet another national championship and another 12 NFL draft picks, another three first-round draft picks in the 2023 NFL Draft.

It's been an unprecedented run on Bulldog talent in the early round of the selection process for the NFL, and that trend doesn't seem to be slowing down heading into the 2024 draft. The midseason Mock Draft have several Bulldogs coined as first-rounders.

NFL First-Round Draft Picks

Brock Bowers - Before and after the injury, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers has remained a pretty consistent top-10 selection in this upcoming draft. The New England Patriots are tracking to be a top-10 potential landing spot, as are the Jets, and Chargers.

Amarius Mims - Mims is fluctuating anywhere from the top-5 to the back end of the first round depending on the mock drafts you subscribe to. The Athletic has Mims going No. 5 overall to the Giants, marking three out of four years the Giants would have selected a tackle in the top-10 — Andrew Thomas ('21)/Evan Neal ('23). Most inside the building believe that the NFL Combine will be the place the world finds out just how talented Mims is.

Kamari Lassiter - Lassiter has received a lot of late first-rounds as of late. Here's what the Athletic had to say about the Georgia corner.

"As a zone defender, Lassiter changes directions and closes on the ball quickly, and he secures tackles well enough to allow a coordinator to be creative with his usage. He’s not as consistent in his technique or production in press-man situations, but he’s also not a liability. Expect him to be an ideal No. 2 corner at the next level."
