Earlier this week, McAfee hosted Smith on his show "The Pat McAfee Show"  to discuss his combine performance as well as what it is like to play football at the University of Georgia. Smith first stated that he was honored to see his former teammates in Athens celebrating his performance via Instagram, especially on "Bloody Tuesday".

According to Smith, "Bloody Tuesday", refers to the full-pad, full-contact practices that the Bulldogs hold every Tuesday, regardless of what point of the season it is.

"Bloody Tuesday is one of the things that go on during the season. It can be week 15 and we 'bout to kick off for the national championship. We're gonna go out there, full pads and we gonna go hit each other on a Tuesday just to get loose, make sure everybody checked in, make sure things are still solid. And you know, that's the best way to practice."

Smith was also super complimentary of how Georgia's coaching staff had prepared him for the next level. But also stated that he was excited to continue working on his craft and improve as a pass rusher.

According to the latest mock drafts, Smith is currently projected to be selected as the 10th overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles. Which would reunite him with former teammates Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis, who were integral to the Bulldog's first national title during the 2021 season.
