Dylan Raiola Scheduled to Visit Georgia and Others this Spring
The Georgia football program has its sights zeroed in on Spring practice right now as it began this week, but they also are focused on continuing to build the 2024 recruiting class. There are a lot of big names on the Bulldogs' board, but none of them are as big as Dylan Raiola, who is the No. 1 player in the country and the top quarterback for the upcoming class.
Raiola was at one point committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes but decomitted from them back in December of last year. That allowed schools like Georgia, Nebraska and USC to get back into the mix. Raiola will be taking visits to multiple schools throughout the Spring and has already visited both Nebraska and USC. This weekend the Arizona native will be rolling into Athens, Georgia for a couple of days.
Raiola will be joining some other top recruits from the 2024 class such as running back Kevin Riley, wide receiver commit Sacovie White, and 4-star athlete Kristopher Jones.
Raiola has also scheduled to be back at Nebraska during April 22-25 for the Huskers' Spring scrimmage as well as at Oregon on April 29-30 for the Ducks' Spring game after his trip to the peach state.
Adding Raiola to the 2024 recruiting class for Georgia would provide massive momentum to be able to close out the rest of the class with a bang. There is still a long way to go in this recruitment, but this will be a huge weekend for Georgia to really close in on landing Raiola. Even other members of the class like safety Peyton Woodyard have been trying to get Raiola to join him in the red and black.
The Bulldogs may not be known for consistently reeling in some of the nation's best quarterbacks every cycle, but they have the chance to do so in this year's class. This weekend will be a prominent point for them to increase their chances.
