Tennessee Football Player Makes Bold Prediction About Game Against Georgia
Last year, the Tennessee Volunteers took the college football world by storm with their high-powered, fast-paced offense. The Volunteers' success early in the season led to them finding themselves as the number-one team in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. However, when the number one Volunteers traveled to Athens to play the Georgia Bulldogs. Things did not go so well.
With the help of an incredibly hostile home crowd, the Bulldogs' defense stifled the Volunteers on their way to a 27-13 victory at home. But the Dawgs will be traveling to Tennessee's home stadium in Knoxville this year and the Volunteers seem confident that they will be able to return the favor.
Earlier this week a post highlighting the upcoming matchup between Georgia and Tennessee had an interesting comment on it. Volunteer offensive, lineman Gerald Mincey commented on what he predicted would take place during the game.
Mincey's comment will likely serve as a major motivation piece for not just Bulldog players, but Bulldog fans who will be traveling to Knoxville this November. Many believe that the upcoming matchup between Georgia and Tennessee has the potential to be one of the loudest environments in college football history.
