Georgia Tech Baseball Rises To No. 16 in Collegiate Baseball Rankings

Georgia Tech remains undefeated heading into another week of baseball

After another weekend series sweep, Georgia Tech has risen in the Collegiate Baseball Rankings. 

After being ranked No. 22 last week, the Yellow Jackets are now up to No. 16 after a mid-week win against Georgia Southern and a series sweep of Tennessee Tech 

Wake Forest (2), Louisville (4), Miami (5), Virginia (12), Florida State (17), NC State (19), and North Carolina (21) are the other ACC teams ranked in the top 25 of collegiate baseball's rankings. 

D1Baseball still does not have Georgia Tech ranked in the top 25 of their rankings.

Georgia Tech won the first game 12-3 thanks to a steady offense and 12 strikeouts from Dawson Brown. 

The second game on Saturday saw Angelo Dispigna and Jack Rubenstein hit a couple of home runs and knock in five runs combined to put away the Golden Eagles 10-4. 

The Yellow Jackets fell behind 4-0 in the first inning yesterday, but the pitching got steadier as the game went on and the offense was too much for Tennessee Tech to handle. 

Georgia Tech is back in action at home tomorrow at 4:00 p.m., taking on the Long Island Sharks. Tech also plays on Wednesday against Kennesaw State before a weekend series against rival Georgia caps the weekend.
