2024 Georgia Tech target Peyton Marshall commits to Missouri
One of the top centers in the country came off the board tonight and is heading to the SEC.
Peyton Marshall, who plays at Kell High School (GA), held an offer from Georgia Tech but committed to the Missouri Tigers tonight.
Marshall is one of the best centers in the country. He is the No. 56 overall player in the 2024 class on 247Sports, the No. 9 center in the country, and the No. 6 player in the state of Georgia. He is an imposing presence in the paint at 7'0 300 LBS and has the potential to be a force at the next level.
Other offers that Marshall holds include Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Georgetown, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Miami, Missouri, NC State, Providence, and Xavier, among others.
This is a loss for Georgia Tech, but they are trending to land one of the top guards in the country, Jaeden Mustaf.
Over the weekend, On3 national basketball recruiting analyst Jamie Shaw put in a prediction for Georgia Tech to land four-star guard Jaeden Mustaf. He put the prediction in with a confidence of 60 and it seems like the Yellow Jackets might be the team to beat in this recruitment.
Now it should be noted that this is just one prediction and it could be wrong. The Yellow Jackets received a prediction to land four-star center John Bol, but he would commit to Ole Miss instead. However, Georgia Tech did land in Mustafs top six schools this past week and seems to have momentum right now.
Mustaf does not have any 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions as of yet.
His finalists include Georgia Tech, Maryland, NC State, Arkansas, Florida State, and Indiana. He is set to decide between those schools on September 14th.
