Annor Boateng includes Georgia Tech in his top eight schools
One of the top players in the country cut his list of schools down to eight today and Georgia Tech was among them.
Annor Boateng, who plays at Little Rock Central High School (AR), is ranked as the No. 28 player in the country on the 247Sports Composite, and Damon Stoudamire and the Yellow Jackets offered him back in April. He released his top eight schools on social media today:
Boateng (6'5 205 LBS) is an athletic shooting guard and the No. 1 player in Arkansas. The other schools that made his top eight include LSU, Missouri, Ohio State, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Auburn, and Arkansas. Because he is the top player in Arkansas, the Razorbacks might be the top school to beat. Eric Musselman has been one of the top recruiters in the country since coming to Arkansas.
Georgia Tech added their second 2023 prospect last week in Ibrahima Sacko. Sacko is a 6''6 wing player that has a 7'1 wingspan. He is an intriguing athlete that brings a high upside to the Yellow Jackets, maybe as soon as this season. Stoudamire has helped develop NBA players while with the Boston Celtics and that could be a big thing in Georgia Tech's favor. He is also a solid rebounder. He joins four-star forward Baye Ndongo as the two prospects in the 2023 class. Stoudamire also brought in the 17th-ranked transfer class this offseason.
Georgia Tech does not have a commitment so far in either their 2024 class or 2025 class.
